Here’s the smooth, stress-free Say It With Sharni roadmap: Book → Chat → Create → Celebrate.
Book: Once you’ve chosen your package and paid your deposit, your date is officially locked in. You’ll receive my Welcome Pack with everything you need to know about the journey ahead.
Chat: We have our deeper planning conversations where I learn about your vision, your story, your vibe, and what matters most to you (this is the good stuff!)
Create: We complete your NOIM and I sight your original IDs. Depending on your package, you’ll receive questionnaires or prompts so I can craft your ceremony, whether it’s simple and legal-only or fully personalised and storytelling-rich.
Celebrate: Before the day, we do a final check-in to make sure everything flows seamlessly. On the day, I arrive early, set up, settle any nerves, and guide you through your moment with warmth, clarity, and intention. Afterwards, I lodge all your paperwork with Births, Deaths and Marriages and message you when your marriage is officially registered (YAY!).
My goal? To keep everything easy, calm, organised and genuinely enjoyable with legal support, creative support, and a celebrant who’s truly in your corner.

To make your marriage legal in Australia, you’ll complete a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and provide original identification (no scans or screenshots).
You’ll need:
Proof of place & date of birth: Passport or Birth Certificate (in English)
Photo ID: Driver's licence or Passport
If previously married: Original divorce order or death certificate
On your wedding day, you’ll need two witnesses over 18, present in person.
I’ll guide you through every step. Easy.

Honestly? As soon as you know your date. I only take one wedding per day, so you get my whole heart, headspace and creative energy, not a rushed, back-to-back situation.
I’m also a mum with a gorgeous family and a very amazing partner, so I balance my calendar carefully. If you want me, lock me in early so we can make magic.

I’m based in Southport, on Kombumerri Country (Gold Coast), and yes, I travel!
Each package includes a different radius, and anything extra is always discussed upfront (no surprise invoices, ever).
I also love a road trip and a good playlist, so if your location is a little adventure than even better.
-
Absolutely. Whether your ceremony is 5 minutes or 30, every single one is crafted specifically for you two.
Many couples don’t realise how many choices they actually have, the wording, tone, involvement, readings, storytelling depth, vows, acknowledgements, symbolism, pacing… it’s all flexible. I guide you through the options and help you shape something meaningful but never overwhelming.
You don’t need to know what you want. Bring yourselves and I’ll help you articulate the rest.
-
I love this and some of my favourite moments come from surprise elements.
In my Grand Narrative ceremonies, I already gather individual perspectives and memories separately, which naturally creates beautiful, unexpected moments. If you want to add something special that your partner won’t hear until the ceremony, I’ll hold it safely and reveal it at the perfect time.
Think of me as the keeper of your secrets… until it’s time for the magic.
-
Ohhh, this is where I shine.
Whether you’re introverts, extroverts, sentimental softies, loud fun-havers, awkward beans, or a blend of everything, I’ve absolutely got you. Your vibe sets the tone, and I build the ceremony around exactly who you are.
Warm? Romantic? Playful? Minimalist? Modern? A little spicy?
I craft your ceremony with your personality so you feel comfortable, grounded, and genuinely yourselves.
-
Firstly, please.
Secondly, what even is ‘normal?’
Sunrise ceremony? Stunning.
Champagne-in-hand the whole time? Iconic.
A Taylor Swift coded love story? Baby just say yes.
A moment for your fur baby? Naturally.
A fantasy theme? A barefoot beach walk-in? No walk-in at all because you hate being stared at?
If it’s legal, safe, and true to you, I’m in.
I’ll help shape it so it still feels smooth, intentional, and beautifully you.
-
Absolutely. I proudly welcome and support all couples, identities, backgrounds, and cultural traditions.
As someone who is in a same-sex relationship myself, inclusivity isn’t a buzzword, it’s something I live, value and bring into every ceremony space. Everyone deserves to feel safe, seen and celebrated exactly as they are.
If you’d like to include cultural rituals, readings, acknowledgements, or meaningful elements from your heritage or family, I’ll help you bring that into the ceremony authentically and I’ll be upfront if something sits outside my scope.
Love is love and culture matters. Your ceremony can honour both.

Life happens and weddings evolve.
If you need to adjust your date, I’ll work with you to find another available time. Some changes may require updated paperwork or small admin fees, everything is always discussed clearly upfront.
Want to upgrade your package or add extras later? Perfectly fine.
Want to scale down? I can adjust your inclusions, but your original package price stays the same once booked. If you’re unsure which package fits, I’ll guide you. No pressure.

I consider myself part celebrant, part professional crowd-guide keeping your people calm, organised, and flowing smoothly.
I liaise with your vendors (photographer, videographer, venue, musician etc,) before your ceremony so we’re all aligned.
On the day, I guide guests where they need to be, support your entrance, and make sure the transition after the ceremony is effortless… no awkward milling around or confusion.
